Privacy Policy for SALESGRID PTY LTD

Last updated: October 18, 2023.

Introduction

Welcome to SalesGRID, an AI-powered sales enablement tool developed by SalesGrid Pty Ltd in Melbourne, Australia. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and share information when you use SalesGRID.

Consent

By using SalesGRID, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.

Information We Collect

Personal Data

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and company information.

We do not transfer or disclose your information to third parties for purposes other than the ones provided

We store your personal information for a period of time that is consistent with our business purposes.

Google User Data

Our application, SalesGRID, integrates with Google Drive to provide enhanced sales enablement features. We ask for specific permissions to interact with your Google Drive account, and we are committed to protecting your privacy and data security.

Google Workspace APIs are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.

Security procedures are in place to protect the confidentiality of your data

Scopes and Justification:

Read-Only Access to Google Drive (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly): We request read-only access to your Google Drive files to facilitate the addition of Google Drive content to SalesGRID. This allows us to create PDF previews of your files and create embeddings to facilitate Savvy (SalesGRID AI) functionality. The read-only scope is essential as it enables these functionalities without allowing SalesGRID to modify or delete your files.

Metadata Read-Only Access (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.metadata.readonly): This permission is required to fetch metadata information like file type, size, and modification date. We use this metadata to classify files and offer relevant recommendations through our AI assistant, Savvy.

No narrower scope would be sufficient for these operations, as the above permissions are the minimum required to fetch the necessary file and metadata details for full integration with SalesGRID functionalities.

Data Handling:

Access and Usage: The Google Drive data we access will only be used for the purposes stated above, namely to enhance your experience and effectiveness using SalesGRID.

Storage: Metadata and read-only file data are securely stored long-term on our servers. You have the ability to delete all stored data for a file by deleting the file from SalesGRID.

Sharing: We do not share any of your Google Drive data with third parties. All data accessed is solely for internal usage to provide the features mentioned above.

By using SalesGRID’s Google Drive integration, you consent to the data practices described in this section.

These permissions are explicitly requested from you when you first use our services and can be revoked at any time through your Google account settings.

If we change the way we use Google user data, we will promptly notify you and seek your explicit consent for the new data usage, in accordance with Google’s guidelines.
